Write for us

Lively Current Journal welcomes thoughtful pitches about urban journeys and the choices that shape them. We are interested in clear, self-contained ideas that help readers understand a route, travel convention or everyday mobility habit without relying on unsupported claims.

Ideas that fit

Pitch an explainer, comparison, short history, myth-check or occasion-specific planning piece connected to routes, transfers, wayfinding, timing or routines. Keep the subject focused and evergreen where possible.

What to include

Tell us the working title, the central question, the main point readers should take away and why the piece suits this publication. Note any sources or specialist input the idea would require, and be upfront about limits or location-specific details.

Send a proposal

Use the Contact page to send your pitch. Please propose an idea rather than submitting a complete article unless we have requested one. We cannot promise publication or a response to every proposal.
